It’s been so long that wrote about The Saturday Dine Out at Salt Restaurant on September month. This time I spent an evening at The Hotel Green Park is situated at Arcot Road, Vadapalani in Chennai. This time, my husband has booked a candle light dinner on the roof top.

An open roof top restaurant with ambiance that’d give one the essence of the most talked about hotels – quite the whiff, this dine out is all that one looks forth towards a grueling work week! Be it a small get-together, a romantic getaway on the weekend or a family outing, it serves the purpose because of its open roof top theme, high above the clutter and clam surrounding the city and its folks.

Let me describe all about this evening.

The Outfit – Black and Gold Printed Dhoti Set from Bunaai :

Dressing up. This is something we look forth to when we go out, and trust me it is quite the work when you visit places that don’t fit your stereotypical definition and description of ambience and class.

I opted for something warm and comfortable.

The clothes are from An exquisite dhoti couture outfit all set for what you’d look out for when going to outings like these.

You need something classic yet classy that ought to bring out the chick in you!

An outfit for the evening at Rs 2599/-

You read it right. That’s all how much this beautiful piece of cloth costed me. Had me hooked at the screen for moments and I found myself ordering this one without giving it serious second thoughts because this is exactly the type of clothing you require in your wardrobe for open roof top occasions!

Food and Ambiance at Green Park Roof Top:

The ambience is what had compelled me to visit the Dine Out in first place and it was worth the effort. With pop music playing round the corner you find your feet grooving and moving.

The food! It’s legit non-descriptive.

The drinks menu makes you spoilt for choice and the service they provide compels you think about visiting the place over and over again.

The barbecue starters made my day! With the right amount of veggies, meat and music, this is what you need in your system to bring back life which our routine seems to be hell bent on sucking out of us.

The juicy chicken legs were something that I’d love to suck and sink into over and over again.

With the right amount of ambiance, music and food flowing through your senses and system, this place is something that you must look forth to visiting the coming weekend.
